The Opportunity


At Sephora, our Brand Marketing team is dedicated to developing bespoke retail marketing strategies that maximize our client insights, media knowledge, and full-funnel marketing expertise to build and grow exclusive Sephora brands. As an Assistant Brand Marketing Manager (AMM) - Skincare, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Manager Brand Marketing – Skincare (SMM) in executing and managing marketing and sampling plans for 15-20 Clinical Skincare brands at Sephora. This role involves cross-functional 360 marketing program execution, managing brand relationships, and providing overall marketing support.


Key Responsibilities


  • Brand Communication: Regularly communicate with brands, Retail, Digital Merchant, and Social Media partners on key brand and product launches, business updates, and other business-related issues to drive the Clinical Skincare business.
  • Asset Management: Follow up with brands on assets, product details, social media details, product gathering, 360 plan participation, brand calendar activation details, and any miscellaneous questions/issues as they arise.
  • Sampling Plans: Assist in sourcing and managing Beauty Insider Loyalty Program sampling plans by brand, including sample sourcing, recommending optimal periods for exposures, and ensuring brands adhere to timelines.
  • Relationship Management: Ensure brand relationships are always top-notch, collaborative, and adaptable to each brand’s nuances.

Qualifications


  • Experience: 2-4 years of Agency or marketing experience in a fast-paced work environment (previous retail or beauty experience preferred, but not required). 1-2 years of Digital/social media experience is required.
  • Education: Four-year college degree, preferably in Business Management or Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills:
  • Strategic thinker who can quickly adjust approach and priorities based on brands’ nuances.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, positive, and flexible. Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with internal and external parties.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and independence – not afraid to ask questions, take constructive feedback, lead new projects, and “roll up your sleeves” for any task at hand.
  • Strong client service acumen.
  • Comfortable expressing points of view, ideas, and opinions with external and internal audiences.
  • Critical attention to detail.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Box and Smartsheets is a plus. #Hybrid

The annual base salary range for this position is $71,145.00 - $94,620.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
