We are on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Associate Community Manager with a profound understanding of the gaming community, specifically in Magic: The Gathering and digital gaming on MTG Arena. This role is pivotal in shaping a positive and vibrant gaming community.


What You'll Do:


As a key player in community engagement, foster positive relationships within the MTG Arena community. Acting as a liaison between players and the product development team ensures effective communication and staying informed about MTG Arena updates, facilitating smooth information flow between the player base and the development team.


Play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging key community advocates who embody the positive spirit of MTG Arena. Your efforts will not only amplify the already positive sentiments but also contribute significantly to the sense of belonging within the community. Encourage and empower players to share their love for the game and community. Your day-to-day work will play a key role in making MTG Arena an even more welcoming and joyful space for all players.


Regarding product feedback, take ownership of gathering, analyzing, and conveying player feedback to the product team. Collaborate with product leadership to integrate community suggestions into updates and releases, ensuring the player perspective is considered in the evolution of MTG Arena.


Event coordination is another exciting aspect of the role where planning, organizing, and executing community events, tournaments, and challenges enhances player engagement and contributes to the vibrant community spirit.


For social media marketing, support the execution of strategies to increase brand awareness and player engagement. This includes creating and scheduling content posts across various social platforms, ensuring alignment with overall product and lifecycle marketing goals.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community management for gaming communities, with a focus on digital games.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with games operating as live services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and experience in social marketing.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
