Essential Duties & Responsibilities
CONTENT CREATION & EXECUTION
- Ideate, create, and publish content for all NY Mets and subsidiary handles across channels including Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Snapchat (responsibilities include creative ideation, graphic design, video/photo editing, and copywriting).
- Provide real-time in-game social media game coverage on all owned-channels.
- Coordinate with NY Mets Corporate Partnership Team as well as MLB to develop branded and sponsored content for NY Mets social channels.
- Participate in the ideation and execution of content designed to drive revenue around promotional giveaway nights, ceremonies & theme nights and other marquee games during the season.
CONTENT PLANNING & STRATEGY
- Oversee the social calendar ensuring all information remains up to date and timely execution of content across the year.
- Collaborate across team to tag, track, and provide social media reports in the form of social recaps, reporting out on trends and insights to internal departments and leadership.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, best practices, and areas of improvement.
- Support the team on the influencer marketing strategy; handling outreach, supporting content development, and managing logistics.
- Assist in the development of collateral, materials, and resources to equip and educate stakeholder teams on available social programs, opportunities and performance.
- Manage team of two social media coordinators providing consistent and effective guidance and feedback, while fostering professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience publishing social content for a brand or company with a substantial social media following. Sports and team social media experience is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and partners.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong written skills with full grasp of grammar and language structure.
- Advanced knowledge of Major League Baseball and the game of baseball with an understanding of online and internet trends.
- Self-starter with ability to work in fast-paced environment with non-traditional hours.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe suite, specifically Photoshop.
- Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish).

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
