Senior Digital Marketing Strategist (Contracted)

OVERVIEW

The Oyster Sunday (OS) Senior Digital Marketing Strategist is a strategy-driven, creative thinker who is passionate about and an expert in digital marketing, communications, branding, copywriting, design, and the hospitality / food & beverage industry. 


The  Senior Digital Marketing Strategist will lead the development of digital marketing strategy for OS’s clients, including but not limited to email, social, web, ecommerce, and growth marketing (including paid ads) strategy. They will work closely with OS’s Founder + CEO (who also wears a CMO / Creative Director hat) to ensure alignment between vision and strategy, and will set the OS Marketing team (Digital Marketing Manager + Brand Marketing Manager) up for success to execute across all channels. This is a contracted position for 10-20 hours per week.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, develop, and implement digital marketing strategies for all OS clients (monthly, quarterly, and annual) that are aligned with their business goals and objectives
  • Build, design, and present digital marketing strategy decks to OS Founder + CEO, Marketing team, and clients
  • Provide feedback and approval on all client marketing deliverables developed by the OS Marketing team
  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the OS Marketing team to track across all clients and channels
  • Ensure the OS Marketing team is leading with data-driven decision-making and marketing strategies
  • Ensure the OS Marketing team has the tools and resources  they need to execute strategy and reporting across all clients and channels 
  • Join / lead internal OS weekly marketing meetings as needed
  • Join / lead client meetings as needed
  • Act as a thought partner to OS’s Founder + CEO on all client marketing initiatives
  • Serve as an expert on all things digital marketing 
  • Uptrain and support the OS Marketing team as needed 


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a digital marketing, brand management, and/or brand strategy role
  • Expertise in:
  • Digital marketing platforms and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Squarespace, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo
  • All major social media networks, including Instagram, TikTok (preferred), and Facebook
  • SEO, SEM, SMO, and PPC
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills, including successful leadership of projects from planning through execution
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience in the hospitality / food & beverage industry preferred
