Social Media Content Creator (Part Time)

We’re looking for a dynamic social media content creator to join our Marketing Team and help captivate and grow our online audience.

Here is a snapshot of responsibilities and initiatives that this person would own:

  • Assist in curating and creating engaging content for various social media platforms, primarily on Tiktok and Instagram
  • Collaborate with the social media manager and marketing team to develop a content calendar and posting schedule
  • Monitor social media channels for trending topics, news, and ideas for content creation
  • Conduct research on audience preferences and interests to optimize content strategy
  • Assist in managing and scheduling posts using social media management tools (like Sprout)
  • Assist in analyzing social media metrics and insights to track the performance of content and campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and content marketing
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all social media channels
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for content and campaigns
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on the social media presence of competitors
  • Support leaders on projects designed to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization


Qualifications:

  • Solutions-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Possess a deep understanding of TikTok trends and internet culture, with the ability to think creatively and have a passion for marketing, with a focus on continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends
  • Analytical mindset and interest in utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making
  • You thrive in ambiguous situations and effectively collaborate
  • Strategic and creative problem-solver, demonstrating persistence and perseverance to execute a strategy or project
  • Experience creating content for TikTok
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape and broader trends, possessing an awareness of the difference between successful consumer and brand content
  • Portfolio demonstrating storytelling on TikTok and links to social media accounts
  • Intriguing storyteller, out of the box thinker and engaging personality
  • Proficiency with editing tools (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, etc)


Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills. This position will require 20-30 hours per week and will report to our Social Media & Influencer Manager.
