Bachan’s is looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of Bachan’s social channels. This person will have good organizational skills, be enthusiastic about staying on top of social media culture and trends, and be comfortable with occasional content creation. You will report to the Senior Manager of Social Media and Influencer Marketing and work closely to manage all details of the content calendar. You will partner with the creative team to develop creative briefs and social assets.
- ResponsibilitiesBrainstorm social-first content ideas, prioritizing TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook that include innovative formats and drive engagement.
- Manage day-to-day posting/scheduling across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Write engaging, on-brand captions for social media posts.
- Be comfortable creating approximately 3 pieces of content for TikTok per week.
- Partner with creative teams to identify and brief trends for more design intensive content creation.
- Assist Senior Manager with managing social media content calendar making sure all assets, captions and other required components of social media posts are complete in a timely manner.
- Monitor, curate and manage outreach of user-generated content for online usage.
- Assist managing the Bachan’s Content Creator Program and seek opportunities to expand our content creation capabilities.
- Experiment with content formats, posting schedules, and captions to optimize audience engagement.
- Assist with influencer initiatives as needed.
- Community management engaging with Bachan’s fans of the brand on social media.
- Occasional work on holidays and weekends as needed.
- Qualifications1-3 years of of social media experience full-time at an agency or at large brand
- Be obsessed with social media and staying on top of trends for each platform with a keen sense for how to continuously elevate Bachan’s in culture, keeping the brand fresh & relevant to our target audience(s)
- Experience using social media analytics and other technology tools (i.e. Dash Hudson, Kale, Airtable, Asana)
- Experience engaging with a community on social media
- Experienced creating content and helping develop strategy for TikTok
- Good communication skills and confidence in adapting to the unique voice of Bachan’s
- Solid organizational skills with high attention to details and quality
- Experience working full-time in social media at a fast paced, high pressure company
- A positive, enthusiastic, results driven, ‘can-do' attitude to your work
- Experience using Photoshop and/or Canva to create basic graphics and videos
- Be comfortable with occasional scheduled travel (advanced notice given)
