Social Media Manager

Our product empowers merchants to manage all their customer service in one place over email, live chat, voice, Facebook, Instagram, and SMS.

Everything we do is for our customers, and we’re currently serving over 12,000+ ecommerce merchants, including : Steve Madden, Timbuk2, Decathlon, and Sports Illustrated. They love us for our innovative product, our focus on their ecommerce needs, and, of course, our lightning-fast customer service response time.

We raised $25 million in our Series B round in December 2020 and $30 million in our Series C round in 2022. We more than doubled in size in every meaningful way: annual recurring revenue, the size of our customer base, and the size of our Gorgias team, for starters.

About The Content Team

📲 As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and continually evolving the social strategy for Gorgias. Reporting to the Director, Integrated Marketing this is a role with high visibility and the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally across the entire business to maximize your impact. As a part of the Content Marketing team, you will work with other team members to drive awareness, engagement, and consideration for Gorgias at every stage of the funnel. You will help communicate the story of Gorgias to ecommerce merchants and work to build a durable brand across all social channels, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Ambassadors, and whatever comes next.

What You'll Do

Building from the ground up you will act as the expert in social for the brand, work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, and build and carry out the ever-evolving Gorgias social media strategy. You will be responsible for owning metrics related to social growth and influence.

  • Social ownership: Responsible for creating, implementing, and continually iterating the social strategy for Gorgias
  • Drive performance: Define, track, and continually exceed social media KPIs that have a direct impact on our funnel
  • Strategic mindset: Continually develop and test new strategies and tactics to engage with the ecommerce community at large
  • Work cross-functionally: Partner with and serve the needs of all business units within Gorgias - spanning from employer branding to partners to ambassadors
  • Help share our story: Be an advocate for customers and quality of our content by proactively identify opportunities and risks and deliver a VIP experience for our biggest fans
  • Be visible: Unabashedly become the face of Gorgias and our brand by actively engaging with our customers, folks in the industry, and partners

This is a unique chance to craft the social function of the marketing department and play a significant part in shaping the brand of a leading SaaS product.

Who You Are

  • 3-5+ years experience managing social media channels for a brand
  • Experience publishing and working on social platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok
  • Proven track record of organically growing social channels and positively impacting a brand
  • Data-driven with experience tracking and reporting on social and how it directly ties to business performance
  • Impeccable creative briefing and project management skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally and balancing the various needs of a brand
  • A deep knowledge of cultural, internet, social and content trends
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills - you are a strategist and a doer at the same time
  • Previous experience in ecommerce / SaaS (preferred)
  • Experience creating and editing video (preferred)
