About FutureVoice:

FutureVoice is a national, 501(c)(3) public awareness campaign aimed at galvanizing young people around the issues that matter most to children, families, and the future of our democracy. Developed in partnership with experienced social change leaders and informed by comprehensive research on Gen Z and young Millennials, the campaign will reach young Americans through original messaging, digital outreach, and grassroots events.

Job Description

FutureVoice is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to lead our presence on the TikTok platform and across other vertical video spaces. This role is critical in engaging and inspiring young Americans through strategic and captivating content that aligns with our campaign's mission and values.


  • Contribute to and execute a creative and engagement-centric TikTok strategy to amplify our campaign's messages, raise awareness, and drive growth.
  • Brainstorm, conceptualize, and produce compelling, innovative, fresh TikTok videos (min. 3-5 per week) that resonate with our target audience and align with campaign goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest TikTok trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and optimized.
  • Manage our TikTok account, including scheduling, posting, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative and strategy teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with our campaign's objectives.
  • Leverage influencer partnerships to expand our reach and credibility on the platform.
  • Analyze TikTok performance metrics and provide regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-promote content on other platforms such as Instagram Reels and Snapchat to maximize visibility.
  • Engage with and cultivate a community of supporters and advocates on TikTok.


  • Proven expertise in TikTok content creation, strategic planning, and community management.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok's algorithm, trends, and best practices for optimizing content performance.
  • Exceptional creative and storytelling skills with the ability to produce visually appealing and engaging content.
  • Strong knowledge of video editing software and tools.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for the campaign's mission and values, with a strong commitment to empowering young people.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Semi-monthly salary equivalent to $70-80k annually
  • Health and dental benefits
