The Role: As a Sr. Social Media Specialist at Vivint, you will play a pivotal and leadership role in shaping, implementing, and executing our company's advanced social media strategies. This position provides a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to creatively develop and oversee compelling content across diverse social media platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in attracting followers, fostering positive community interaction, and elevating audience engagement. Reporting directly to the Sr. Social Media Manager, you will collaboratively work with cross-functional teams to optimize Vivint's online presence.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee posting schedule on social channels, craft engaging captions, and working close with Social Content Creators to ensure a cohesive and impactful online presence.
- Cultivate and consistently share high-quality content on social media platforms to foster positive community interaction and strengthen brand loyalty.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to identify and capitalize on strategic social media opportunities.
- Utilize advanced analytical skills to measure and monitor the success of social media content and campaigns, preparing detailed reports.
- Proactively recommend innovative content and effective brand engagement solutions based on industry trends and insights.
- Uphold an outstanding customer experience across media channels by actively engaging, educating, and communicating with customers, assisting Community Manager with escalating issues as needed.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and troubleshoot daily operational issues, recommending strategic solutions and process efficiencies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Vivint's products and services, ensuring accurate representation in all social media efforts.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, being comfortable on camera when filming.
Who You Will Work With: Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, and other teams. This role will involve extensive collaboration across multiple departments to successfully execute projects.
Required Skills
- 2-3 years of social media experience
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Brand experience is a plus, demonstrating your seasoned approach to building and maintaining brand identity.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Uphold a high standard of professionalism by meticulously reviewing content, identifying potential errors and ensuring accuracy before posting on channels.
- Excellent cross-collaboration skills between teams and departments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in front of leadership
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Independence and strong time management skills
- Maintain proactiveness and avoid complacency for continuous innovation and growth
